Federale, my mexican Heirloom tomato

These are both pictures of the Mexican heirloom tomato "Federale" that I am growing this year. It is a pepper shaped tomato that is good for sauces and hopefully, salsa.
They are still green but should be ripe soon.

You say pomato, I say topato!

Here is a good example of humans modifying nature, that is perfectly natural.
it is funny because a lot of home gardeners would think that this is like frankenfood, or Dolly the sheep....but it is no less natural than grafting apple trees, it is just such a weird idea!!!
